For most of the IMPRS-TRUST students from all over the world coming to Germany, it is their first stay abroad in a sometimes very unfamiliar environment. We want them to feel at home as quickly as possible, so when they arrive at the institute we help them to become familiar with their new surroundings. For the first weeks, we provide accommodation and with the help of so-called buddies (“old” IMPRS-TRUST students who wish to give the new students a warm welcome), we guide them through their daily problems, like finding a flat, extending their visas, etc.
